She looked to the other professor, and pointed in the direction they were walking just awhile ago. ''Shal we?..'' She smiled

A young boy with short red hair entered the hall, carrying a small box and having a baby drake on his shoulder. He looked excited, being a new first year's student. As he entered the hall, he slowed down his pace and stopped for a while to look around the hall. There, at one of the pillars at his side, he spotted 2 adults and a boy, with a cat jumping around. Delighted to meet new wizards, he started walking towards them.

Duncan saw the new boy and was happy to see another Gryfindor guy. He met a lot of girls but this new boy was the only other boy that he saw since he got to Hogwarts. He put his silver gray cat, Bast, on his shoulder and walked towards the new kid.

When he neared Duncan extended a hand and said "Greetings fellow Gryfindor, I'm Duncan Mowbray and this is Bast." he pointed at the cat. "Nice to know I'm not the only guy here."

Sleepy shook the hand of Duncan and said "Nice to meet you, Duncan!"

Since Sleepy had been arriving in Hogwarts and went to the Sorting Hat ceremony, he had been so busy getting his wand and other things that he hardly had the time to meet anyone.

"Duncan, you have a beautiful cat, I think she likes me." Sleepy stroke the cat's head and Bast purrrrred. "This is Eagle, my Drake" he said, pointing to the small drake who was sitting on his shoulder. "he is really cute and is always in a protective mood over me."

Eagle looked at Duncan with his bright red eyes and yawned.

"Have you been to Gryfindor tower yet ?" Duncan asked. "And the kitchens are really great too.

The blonde boy, Duncan, began to laugh "How do ya like that ? I can actually show somebody aroun d! By the time term starts we'll be known more stuff than any of the other first years."

"So does your drake sleep in the owlry or by your bed ?"
OOC: is a baby drake supposed to be a young duck or a young dragon ?

"No, I didn't see the Gryffindor quarters yet. I just went to buy my wand at Ollivander's and got back now."
Sleepy took out his wand from the box he was carrying and showed it, full of pride, to his new friend. "See, he got the feather of a Hippogriff inside." he told Duncan, opening his eyes wide. "Which one did you get?"

"Yep, you can show me around, sure." he said, after Duncan and Sleepy had taken a look at Duncan's wand and Eagle made another big yawn.

"Who are they?" Sleepy asked winking at the two professors who were walking their way in the corridor.

"He's professor Grimforth." Duncan answered. "He's the head of Slytherin and I got the feeling he already doesn't like me. ANd she's Professor Power. She's the head of Gryfindor. She seems OK, Bast liked her so I got a good feeling about her."

He started walking towards the great hall and continued to speak. "We won't really know who's good and who's a pain till classes start."

His expression changed and he said "Any chance you play a musical instrament. So far everybody I met, every student, is a musician."

[Sleepy Dragonwood]

Sleepy walked alongside his new friend towards the great hall and was full of awe. It was the first time he was in such a beautiful, big castle.

"Yep, I play some sitar and a bit guitar" Sleepy said "my mother teached me the sitar."

Sleepy looked around the great hall and enjoyed the pillar decorations and paintings hanging from the walls.

"Can you take me to the Gryffindor tower?" he asked, with some excitement in his voice.

Duncan waved to the teachers. "Goodbye Professors" he said as he left the room to lead Sleepy to Gryfindor tower."
