I stand outside Ollivander's, gazing through the dusty old window. I can barely conceal my excitement at getting my first and hopefully only wand (knowing that the wand is a powerful witch's or wizard's for that matter tool).
However along with the excitement comes the nerves, why am I nervous? I do not know, perhaps because starting tomorrow I will be a student at Hogwarts and beginning a new adventure - learning about things I only imagined existed in my head. But most of all,I am nervous about the wand I may receive - it has to be perfect. It has to feel like an old friend or an extended part of myself - at least that is what my mother had told me. However what better place to buy a wand than Ollivander's? The best wand shop in London!
I go into the store, and find that it is empty. All the other students must have come here earlier and are visiting the other shops.
I look around at all the boxes of wands in wonder, and am startled when I don't hear Mr Ollivander appear.
"I am looking to buy a wand please" I ask smiling, excitement building up within - I can't wait to find out just which one is made for me.
"My measurements are: 5, 10, 7 and 12"

OOC: Ceta, RP posts are made in third-person (he, she, it) not first-person (I, me, we).
"Such interesting measurements!" Mr. Ollivander said, eyeing Ceta. "I think I know the perfect wand for you." Mr. Ollivander opened a box that seemed to appear from nowhere and took out its contents. This wand is made of gnarled pine, is seven and one-half inches long, and has a core of salamander claw. I highly recommend you use it for transfiguration. Mr. Ollivander handed the wand to a very elated Ceta. She handed him fifteen galleons and calmly exited the store. "Another satisfied customer!" Ollivander muttered to himself!
