Isabella blushed a little bit out of emmbarrasment then pulled out some old-looking sheets of paper. "I play Picillo and then right a little music here and there, not to much sure about Charlotte, though."Isabella said, looking over at her friend who was staring at her with a, "What on earth are trying to do? Flirt?" look just to make her mad.

"EVery note you write is important." Duncan replied. "And every line of lyric. Writing music is like any other excersize. You work the muscle to get good at it. For music the 'muscles' are your creativity."
"And it can be REALLY hard." Duncan said sympathetically. "I've sat and stared at a blank parchment for hours while my brain ran in circles looking for a tune or some lyrics." he said with a kind smile.

"Myself as well!"Isabella replied, smiling brightly. She felt a lot better about what Duncan had said. Charlotte rolled her eyes, smiling at her friend. "hey guys, I need to go do something, I'll see you two later! Bye!"She said, running off, leaving the two kids alone.

"Well I hope my music isn't bad enough to scare everybody away." Duncan said with a laugh. "But I suppose our little concert is on hold since we're loosing musicians."
He shrank his guitar and put it in a pocket.
"Well I think it's too nice out to head back to the castel. How about we take a walk around the lake ? HAve a look around and chat ?" Duncan said standing up.

The pretty red haired griffindor had jogged around most of the lake. Sweat ran down her body, even though she wore only a sports bra, running shorts, head band, socks and running shoes.
She looked un-witchy, running along with her hair in a pony tail. The only witchy item was the wand in an arm band.
As she continued she saw a boy and a girl in the distance sitting by the lake.
OOC: she's a hufflepuff and a musician !

Duncan saw the approaching girl and spoke to Isabella "It should be safe enough. That jogging girl wasn't eaten by bugbears or manticores."
He extended a hand towards the still seated Ravenclaw girl. "Come on, it'll be fun on a day this nice."

OOC: I believe Charlotte is right about that. I guess I wasn't paying enough attention to the posts,sorry.
OOC2:Isabella, I think it would be good form to ask Charlotte if she would mind having her character move somewhere if you want a chance to be alone.

And Katie arrived at about the same time, sweat running down her face, chest and tummy. As the tall, muscular red haired girl noticed the group of people, she decided she'd stop and introduce herself.
"Hi everybody." she said as she jogged in place in her jogging outfit. "I'm Katie and I'm in Hufflepuff." she took a few breaths.
"I just ran around the lake when I saw you guys. Lots of 1st years here early. huh ?"

Hawkes was having a hard time trying not to stare at Katie, he was struck by her beauty. The start of horomones and such at this age was normal.
"Well, I myself am not a mucisian, but couldnt help notice all of you here, so I figured I might as well join."
Hawkes was worried that he would get made fun of for his American/Bronx accent. He also tried looking away from Katie, straining at this point not to stare.

Katie tool a deep breathe and began to walk around. She wiped the sweat from here cleavage. She actually did have enough of a figure to need the sports bra she wore.
She looked at the lake and laughed. "Well maybe we should play something other than music." She ran to the lake and splashed into the water.
"Come on in." she called out. "It's great !"

A girls' figure was growing larger and larger, until the mist cleared and the girl was called, er, Mist. She smiled at everyone and said, "Hello, I'm back! Hope you were alright without me?" she giggled. She noticed the splashing going on. "Hey, can I join in?"
