Exploring for secrets (Join with me, if ya like!)

[Mist LightRose]

Hogwarts is magnifacent. Everyone knows it, everyone feels it. Especially Mist, who is creeping along the third floor. A ghost passed over her head, and the portraits talked. Sighing, she decided to ask a portrait if they knew of any secrets. She spoke outloud to them all.
"Excuse me?" she asked. All ignoring her, they continued talking. Mist is not usually an impaitent girl, but she loved exploring, and that's the one thing that would get her annoyed. Impaitently, she yelled, "[shadow=red,left,300]EXCUSE ME?[/shadow]" everyone looked up at her. "I'm Mist LightRose. I'm here exploring, and I have a question. Do any of you know any secrets about the third floor?"

Charlotte ran over, panting slightly from running so much. "I came as fast as I could! Can I explore with you?"

[Mist LightRose]

Mist turned to Charlotte. "Sure!" she shrugged. "I'm not going to stop you! " She grinned.
"So," asked Charlotte, "What were you doing?"
"Asking the portraits if they know any secrets." She and Charlotte turned to the rest of them. "I," Mist reminded them,"am still waiting for an answer."

Charlotte scanned the portraits, trying to find one that might help. She sighed, "So, Has anyone here seen anything... abnormal around here lately?" one of the portraits looked at her. "You!" A few of his friends laughed with him, and Charlotte pulled out her wand. "You know, I would hate to get hateful, but... EXPULSO!" Dust and pieces of stone came up where she aimed at the floor. "Oh my!! Well, if you put it that way! a few years ago, I saw a few teachers bringing a three headed dog! Among other things..." He said. Charlotte turned around to Mist and grinned.

Mist grinned back, happily. "Did you see what direction they proceeded in?" she returned to the portrait.
"I," he murmered, "Don't have to answer any more of your questions." Mist and Charlotte simontainosly drew their wands. "Don't mess around with us."
The portrait laughed. "Pretty sly, for a Gryffindor." he directed the statment at Mist. The words buzzed around Mists' head and stung her. "I prefer determined. Strong-willed." she glared after a while, "And I am always loyal to my friends. I always tell the truth. What's it to you?" Mist suddenly realised why he had said the horrid words.
"Don't change the subject. Where did they go?"
" Alright, alright. I can't say I wasn't curious. I followed them, I can't deny it. They proceeded downstairs and then the frames stopped; I couldn't follow them any longer. They went in the direction of either The Forbidden Forest, or ... "
OOC : Charlotte, what was the other direction they went in? You like, decide

"Under the lake." Charlotte finished, remember reading about it in the restricted section. She grinned, and turned towards Mist. Do you think it's still there, the three headed dog? I read something about Harry going though all sorts of trials... to get the sorcerer's stone. I read it in the book 'History's Darkest Secerets', from the restricted section." She said, starting down the hallway.

[Mist LightRose]

Following her, she murmered, "Either way, both are still dangerous. What do you think we should do? Would we even be allowed under the lake, or the Forbidden Forest? I mean, I don't mind going down there, but people would be searching. Or know where we are, find us and give us detention. What should we do?" babbled Mist.
"Mist, stop babbeling! Here's what we'll do ... " Charlotte stopped Mist.

Charlotte thought for a second, then replied. "We could ask the Headmaster, or we could bring a teacher with us!" She said hopefully. She was dieing to go exlporing, especially if they weren't supposted to.

[Mist LightRose]

Mist took in the information on what they needed to do.
"Without trying to be nasty Charlotte," Mist thought aloud, for she hated being nasty, " But, do you really think we'd be allowed in these places? " Mist then decided, "We'll ask the headmaster as soon as possible."

[Isabella Lightfield]

*Somewhere farther ahead*
Isabella was wandering around-she had heard going through the thrid-floor corridor was riddled with riddles and secrets, and she, thinking it sounded cool and fun, decided to go-big mistake. She was scared out of her wits and she thought she kept hearing voices coming up closer behind her. "I-I-I want my Dad!"She murmured, tearing up-that's one reason she thought she didn't get in Gryffindor-she's a frady cat.

Mist looked at Charlotte.
"You just spoke without moving your lips!!" She exclaimed.
"It wasn't me ... "
"Let us go and check it out." Mist grinned, and ran down the passageway.

[Lilah Delancy]

Lilah was walking down a corridor on the third floor exploring. She was walking and looking at the portraits and paintings. Lilah heard footsteps. She was unnaware who it was but when she looked up the person ran into her.

"I am sorry. I wasn't looking." Lilah quickly appologized

[Charlotte Honeygold]

Charlotte smiled. "It's ok! I was just about to scare one of my friends! Want to join me?" She said with a mischivious grin. "If you do, just follow me and keep quiet. When we find her, we can use a few spells to scare the crap out of her. Do you need a spell, or do you already know one?"

[Lilah Delancy]

"Well hi. Sure! I already got a spell." Lilah said returning a mischevious smirk


Lilah followed Charlotte. Once they saw the girl they knew what to do.

'Wingardium Leviosa' Lilah said just as the girl started to fly in the air.

Lilah waited to see what Charlotte would do next...

Glaring, but with no fright, Mist spoke calmly, which was, quite surprising.
"Get me down." was all she said. She bore her eyes into Lilahs', then into Charlottes'. When one of the two let her down, she let rip, with the most hurtful words she could find.
"TO THINK, I ACTUALLY TRUSTED A SLYTHERIN?! I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS SUCH AN IDIOT!!!" She roared."I actually thought you were different! Huh! I don't want a friend who tells others to levitate her into the air! I'm going!" and slapped both as hard as she could, and sprinted away, a few silent unseeable tears slipping from her eyes.
