THE DAILY PROPHET
Issue #1 - July 3, 2009 New Term Brings New Headmaster This September, another term of magic, mystery, and mayhem will begin at the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. However, current Headmistress Minerva McGonagall will not be sitting in her usual office this term. A new Headmaster will move in to the office and begin his administration of the ancient school on July 13. The new Headmaster, James Coppergold, has been a Hogwarts professor for approximately 25 years as an Arithmancy professor, along with fellow Arithmancy professor Septima Vector, and took up the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher after the end of the Second Great War in 1998. Professor Coppergold is excited to take on the challenges of running the school and feels honored to have been selected for the prestigious position. James Coppergold has nine grown children, a wife, Jessa, who currently lives at the family home. In response to the great media storm, who wants to know how Professor Coppergold is handling this new responsiblity, he says "I am delighted to take on what is truly the greatest challenge I have faced and ever will face!" Replacements for the vacant posts have not yet been found.
