Duncan walked through the hall, it was his habit to explore and he hadn't been here yet. He followed his silver-grey cat and talked to her as they walked along.

"I'd really love to find a gym here." Duncan said. "Well if I was wishing I'd want a rock climbing room, that way I'd be able to climb in the rain or in the winter."

Bast turned around and walked down the hall in the direction that she had come. Duncan turned and continued to follow "Find something girl ?" he began to examine the wall and contnued to talk.

"It would have lots of rock faces, from simple to climb to nearly impossible. ANd it would have all the safety gear that an experianced climber could possibly need.

The cat turned around again and Duncan still followed her. He smiled "Now I KNOW you're on to something." and soon a door appeared.

Duncan smiled and opened the door. His chin dropped "o.m.g." he muttered as he walked into the room that he had wished for.

He immediately changed into climbing grear and was soon climbing an expert level stone mountain face. "I love this school!" he said as he reached further up the nearly bare wall of stone.

Mist, who was watching silently, was amazed. She loved climing and exploring. She bounded up to Duncan.
"Smart cat you've got there, Duncan."

Duncan looked surprised. He didn't know many people his age strong enough to be climbing this mountain face with him. "I am impressed." he said.

He reached up above his head and dangled from his fingertips from the edge as he worked his way up. "Yea, Bast is really smart. She deserves her name."

He swang out with one arm and grabbed a rock outcrop. He let go with his left hand and swung to the other side. When he had his footing he reached out to help Mist across. "Think you can make the top ?" he asked.

"Maybe," grinned Mist, "And you?"

[Hawkes Voddher]

"Hello ..."

Hakwes had just seen two people walk into this room but there kind of disappeard out of view. He walked around a bend and saw Mist and Duncan talking and looking up what seemes to be th ebeginning of a cliff. Hawkes decided to leave them alone, considering what transpired befor at the lake. Hawkes wquietly slipped away and eneded up back on the 5th floor.

"Either I'll make it to the top or add a scar to my collection." Duncan answered.

He found footing and moved further up the cliff. It was nearly bare and took most of his strength and concentartion to make the next ledge.

"You coming up ?"

Grinning, Mist nodded and lept from the stone she was at to a higher, more to the right, stone.
"I love climing ... " she whispered.

[Duncan Mowbray]

"Me too." Duncan said as he reached down to grab her.

She moved just as he grabbed her and her weight overbalanced him. He fell and she fell with him.

They fell about 20 feet then landed on a cloud that felt as soft as cotton candy, but still held them. It lowered them to the ground.

"I wished for a room with all the required climber protection, I guess clouds that catch falling people count as protection in a magic room."

Mists' heart beating slowed down.
"Thanks, Duncan." a wary smile approached her lips as she attached the climbing gear to herself. "Shall we start climing again?" she asked. Starting at the bottom, she sharted climing.

Duncan nodded. "You know, you might be as crazy as me. No wonder we're both Gryfindors." he said to his fellow Gryfindor. He wiped his hands and began to follow her climb.

"Do you think there are any other mountaineers here ?"

[Mist LightRose]

"Well - URGH!" she glared, as part of the rock broke away for difficulty. " I think there's Katie - y'know, the Hufflepuff? But I'm not entirely sure." She grabbed Duncans foot as it slipped, and hoisted it back up. "So - What bloodtype are you? Im muggleborn."

[Duncan Mowbray]

Duncan pulled himself up, found some footing and pushed on "Family history, huh ?" he asked.

He found a nearly non-existant lip of stone and pulled himself up. "I'm a half blood. Dad is a wizard and works in Magic research in the ministry of magic. Mom's a professor at Oxford."

"I'm the first Gryfindor in my family in forever. Everybody before me was a Ravenclaw. They say I'm too curious, leap before you look, to be a ravenclaw."

He changed his drip and moved up beyond her, clinging with only his fingers. "UUHHH!" he huffed. "How about you ?" he asked.

[Mist LightRose]

"I'm Muggleborn, or Mudblood, whichever term you - OW! - prefer ... " Mist puffed. "I'm the first Witch in my family. And they treat me like I'm a weirdo. Em, well, my sister Thorn does."

[Duncan Mowbray]

"Well with a name like thorn you'd be surprised if she didn't live up to it , eh ?" Duncan answered as they neared the top of the monsterous climb.

Panting, he added "I have a little brother and sister. Both of them have done accidental magic so they'll probably both be here in a couple of years."

He pulled himself to the top. His smile spread across his face as sweat ran down his cheeks. "Wanna make this our regular work out ?" he asked mist.

"Not really on the Thorn front." sweated Mist. "I'll need to wash after this," grinned Mist, even though the strain was a bit sore as they got higher and rocks started dissapering, getting more difficult to stretch. Replying to the work out front, Mist grinned, "Sure! I love it."
