Hawkes was sweating at this point. Robes off, just a t-shirts and shorts, swaying his head to the beat of the AC/DC song coming out of his boom box 10 yards away. Woooosh, the Whoomping Willow, went to strike narrowingly missing Hawkes as he dove out of the way. Woosh, again the Whoomping Willow tried to smash him almost anticipating his next movements. This scene might look strange but in Hawkes mind it was good practice for Quidditch tryouts. Bobbing, weaving duck, diving and dodging would help him prepare, for even though Hawkes never played Quidditch it was the only sport that Hogwarts really had.

Hearing the song playing from the boom box, Mist LightRose looked over from the boom box. Seeing Hawkes leaping over the branches, made her look on in amazment. She approached causisly.
"Hey, Hawkes! It's Mist!" She yelled over the 'woosh' of the branches trying to capture Hawkes. "Can I join in?" She yelled, and hoped he'd take a break to tell her his answer. She de-robed to her bra and underwear in case the answer was 'yes'.

As Hawkes turned to see who it was, turning to see a half naked girl. The Whoomping Willow came down and Hawkes was a half step too slow the big burly branches came down and pummeled him. Laying on the ground the Willow picked him up and flung him about 20 yards away. He was face down moaning, "ehhhh!"

Mist, seeing this, rolled forward and grabbed the moaning Hawkes. The branched missed her by about half a millimeter, but managed to whip off some of her fire red curls.
"Hey, Hawkes, sorry 'bout that. You OK?" and Mist anxiously waitied for his reply.

Hawkes, seeing stars finally notice the fact that he was being held by Mist.
He looked into her eyes and immediately looked away.
"Its ok, Ill be alright."

Nodding, Mist said, "Right then."
An awrkward silence filled the air, and finally, Mist said, "Come on, try and get up, Hawkes." She helped him up, and spoke, "Alright? Yeah? Good. I'm gonna try ... " looking at the worried expression on Hawkes' face, she grinned. "Don't worry. Remember what I said about the Muggle mountain?" And lept into the tree.

Hawkes watched in amazment as Mist dipped and odged the Willow. Hawkes thought in his mind it wasnt fair, she distracted him and he looked like a fool. Figuring it would be a bad idea he did not bring that fact up.
"Great job!"

"Thanks - woah ! " she suddenly yelled, two branches came flying towards her, either direction ...
"EEEEEEEEEEK!" she screamed, and tryed doing something she'd never tried before - a backflip. Landing, she grinned and rolled back.
"Hey, Hawkes, why the long face?" her body was pumping with ardrenline. So was her brain. "I am so sorry I distracted you, Hawkes. I'm sure you are really good at it. I AM sorry I distraced you. You do belive me, don't you?" she whispered.

"Yeah its not problem," Hawkes said smiling.
He still felt like a fool, but no matter. Taking a seat next to the boombox he laid downa and just looked up at the sky. Hawkes was alreayd starting to get home sick. Closing his eyes he dream of Katie and it seemed to have acalming effect on him. Then Mist's faced came to him and he was torn.

Hawkes' eyes were closed, Mist smiled, having no idea what he was dreaming of. She leapt back towards the tree, it's branches trying to engulf her once more. She loved the thrill of trying to get caught, it was so er, thrilling to her.

Hawkes opened his eyes looked up at the sky and decided it was time to get up. In doing so he saw Mist still playing there little game of Whoomping Willow tag and started to feel light headed. Then dizzy, his knees became weak the stars came back to him. As Hawkes fell to the ground passed out he whispered, "Mist ..."

It was lucky Mist turned back to check on Hawkes at that moment. She was shocked, and got whipped by the branch. Ignoring the pain, she yelled, "Hawkes, CAN YOU HEAR ME?"

Mist rolled him over and lifted him up. Mist carried him the way a (muggle) fireman would do. She ran to the hospital wing with him, still on her shoulders.
"NURSE?!" She screamed.
