Character Biography:

Hawkes is a Muggle-born wizard recruited by a Hogwarts Alumnus. He is goal oriented and very intelligent. Though most people think he is shy, Hawkes only speaks when necessary. An avid rugby player since the age of 5, Hawkes was named team captain over the past 2 years. Hawkes is actually an American by birth as both of his parents are . His father an accountant, his mother a doctor, Hawkes finds it hard sometimes to truly please them. As a youngling, he did not show real outward signs of magic, but when his emotions ran high, he would disapparate and eventually end up about a football field away where he was orignally standing. A neighbor saw Hawkes disapparate one day and brought him in for tea. There theneighbor explained about wizardry and witchcraft, which Hawkes took as poppycock, until the neighbor took the hand of the young boy and disapparated with him, ending up at the rugby pitch near there town. Since then little by little, Hawkes started to use his magic with little things hoping one day to finally enter Hogwarts and be with his own kind.

Hawkes, let discuss this. First of all, your character is a male. That doesn't make him a witch. He is a wizard. Also, I understand your character is Muggle-born, but give much about his magical background or his family life. It just tells a lot about the fact that he is an avid rugby player. Fix these things and I'll move it to the "Introduce Yourself!" board!
