Duncan Mowbray walked into Olivanders and began to look around. He smiled as he glimpsed the old fellow in the back.
"Hello !" Duncan called out. "I need to buy a wand !" he said.
He admired the a unique carving on the wall as he hoped his father would return from Gringots soon.

Mr. Ollivander walked up to Duncan with a smile, showing many white teeth. "So you are wanting a wand, eh?" he said, with a smile. He shuffled through some boxes until he picked one out of the large stack of boxes. "Try this one on for size."
Duncan swished it around. It felt as natural as flying on a broomstick. Ollivander explained that his wand was made of Rosewood with a phoenix feather core. He also mentioned that it was eleven inches long and that it was great for spells that involve travel. Duncan paid Mr. Ollivander 15 galleons and left the shop excitedly.

In response to your OOC2 question, each student automatically gets 100 galleons. I have to add them manually to your account, and I just hadn't gotten around to it yet.
