The Sorting Ceremony is a long-standing tradition that goes all the way back to the very beginnings of Hogwarts. The Sorting Hat once belonged to Godric Gryffindor, found of Gryffindor house. He, along with Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin, founded the great educational institution of magic in which we now reside.
The Sorting Ceremony is an important and exciting part of a young wizard or witch's life. It shows where their strengths and weaknesses are, as well as their loyalties.
Without further ado, I present to you the Sorting Ceremony...
The ceremony is very simple in the way it works.
1) Begin a thread in this board requesting to be sorted. This thread alerts the Headmaster that you are wanting to be sorted. In your subject, please use this format:
2)The Headmaster will reply to your request with a link to the official HoH Sorting Quiz.
3) Whenever is most convenient for you, complete the quiz and send your answers in a private message to the Headmaster.
4)The Headmaster will take your answers and use them to score your quiz. Once he has scored your quiz, he will upload the results.
5) Finally, when you notice that the Headmaster has replied to your answers, check the thread to see which house you have been placed into!
6) When you have seen what house you are in, please post a quick message verifying that you have seen your results. This message will tell the Headmaster that he can delete your request, to keep the board from getting too cluttered.
