And with perfect timing the nurse walked in and said "It's an anti-inflamatory. It will help your muscles get back the right way." and she reached towards Lilah with a foul smelling concoction.
Duncan was still flushed red but grateful that the nurse didn't catch them snogging. "Here, luv, let me help you> he said to Lilah as he helped turn her towards the nurse.

He shrugged and said "I have no idea. I don't believe in 'seeing' so your guess is as good as mine."
He smiled at her and his eyes were bright with anticipation "We'll travel a road together. If we're lucky it will be a long and good journey. But our road will have bumps."
He sighed and his look changed , somewhere between sad and determined. "There will be gryfindor's and slytherins that will call us both traitors and worse. Freinds, maybe family too, getting weird about you and me together."
He wrapped both arms around her. "So we'll do our best and have hope." he kissed her cheek.

"Let's get out of here." he said and draped his arm over her shoulder. As they started to walk out he asked "Would you like to be my d..." and he blushed bright red "um,, dateforthefirsthogsmeadetrip?" he managed to get out of his mouth.

"Dating, huh?" Jaslyn Blink entered the room. She had a composition notebook open with giant words reading DIARY, and a bright navy blue pen. She scribbled something down and then looked back up. "Who would've thought?" she smirked and raised an eyebrow as she looked at Lilah and Duncan's robes. "Gryffindor... Slytherin? Interesting...very interesting." She walked over to the couple.
"So... is this considered a secret...." Jaslyn raised both her eyebrows.

"No secrets here" Duncan added his opinion. "If you'd like you can stand on the Slytherin table at dinner and yell it to the whole school."
He stood on the nurses chair and cupped his hands around his mouth and pretended to yell "Gryfindor Duncan Mowbray and Slytherin Lilah Delancy dating !"
He hopped down from the chair and took Lilah's hand. He smiled at Jaslyn. "You're very inquisitive." he said. "You should date a Ravenclaw."
His eyes shined as he looked into Lilah's "Then I am definitely looking forward to our first Hogsmeade weekend."

Duncan started to humm along, smiling happily. Lilah could easily recognize it because he was humming the music that Pan taught them. He leaned closer to her. Her hypnotic voice didn't seem to be having any effect as he didn't seem to change his behavior at all. "You're voice is a beautiful as it was in the forbidden forest." OOC: and there's a reason for that it too  |
