New Owl!

"Snowflake!" Mist smiled, despite her heavy heart. she looked at the owl. "I'll just check over my post." Mist muttered, and pulled out two scrolls of parchment.

'Mum and Dad :
Hello! I hope you're doing well! I am doing OK, but ... well, let's just say : this school? Should be re-named to Hogwarts School of Drama, drama, drama.
A good bit of news : I got into Gryffindor, the house I wanted!
I am devloping a crush on one of the boys here, but he likes my best friend. Awkward? Yes.
My best friend, Lilah Delancy, is a Slytherin. It's a wierd combonation, Gryffindor and Slytherin as best friends, but something happened in her family and ... I don't think she'll turn out to be like most Slytherins.
I'm meeting lots of new people! I was quite annoyed one day : A Slytherin I thought would be a friend, Charlotte, got someone to lift me up with a spell. Lilah, actually, but I forgave her, just like you'd expect me to!
I hope you're doing well. Tell Thorn she won't be reciving any letters from me : She won't expect any, anyway.

The next letter to Mark said roundabout the same.
"Here, Snowflake, take this to Kyra and Ian LightRose." She whispered to the Owl, and it flew away.

She got a letter back a few days later :

Dearest Mist,
Oh, it's so good you are settling in.
Oh, dear. You are devoping crushes on boys at your age? Not what I'd expect, dear.
Gryffindor? Slytherins? Wish I knew what you were talking about. Ho hum.
Lifted up? Hm.
We are doing well, Mist! You may be surprised to hear : Thorn was quite upset about not reciving a letter. She does love you, darling, she justdoesn't express it.
