Duncan entered the shop and looked about. He was rather early and the first student there. He looked at his list, and saw that he needed a Pewter Cauldron. He could easily cover the 5 galleon cost. He picked up a cauldron and took it to the counter.
He ran his fingers through his sandy blonde hair and looked around while he waited for the salesperson to check him out.

Duncan paid for his cauldron and left. He walked into the street and tried to decide where to go next. He decided for a snack and headed towards Florean Flortescue's Ice Cream Parlor.
