Lesson 1 - Introductions

[Prof. Aislinn Power]

Aislinn opened the door to the classroom once she heard the distant ringing from the bell. She put a smile on her face and breathed deeply. She was about to have a new class of first year students. She hopped they wouldn't be as loud as last years. The paperwork of all those detentions tiered her. But it is the reason why those kids never go out of line with her anymore. She might be young, but she is a fiery Irish woman and doesn't tolerate any disruption in her class.

She looked outside and let the students in.
''Take your seats! Books out! We will begin Immediately.''
She paused as the sounds of groans went through the class. She then moved to the top and faced the students. A stern look on her face. She needed to show these students she was serious.
''Now. I am Professor Power, and I will be your Ancient Runes Professor this year.''
She smiled as she looked around her classroom. The stones and pictures covering her room. All ancient looking from buildings and Ancient Civilisation.

''Today we will start with simple introductions, so for your homework, yes homework. I want you to start by telling me a little about yourself. Give me your name, house and tell me two interesting things about yourself. I also want you to tell me what you expect from the course and what you want to learn about. We will start the Ancient Runes course next week.''

Laelia had wandered into the class on time, and had taken her seat. It looked like her new teacher was going to be quite stern without Professor Mellor's biting tongue.

She placed her bag away, and got her textbook out on her desk. As Professor Power let them know what to expect for today's lessons, she was disappointed. She had wanted to dig into the subject material.

Laelia might as well go first, so she introduced herself on parchment and if Professor Power was so inclined, she could read it her written introduction.

Laelia Lule of Slytherin. I lived in Europe before coming back to England, and like to play Keeper. I would expect this course to teach me of the relationship between spells and runes and their importance.

she sat herself down, pulled out her parchment and books, and wrote as neatly as she could :

My name is MistLightRose, muggleborn. I am in house Gryffindor. I love to climb and paly my guitar (though, not at the same time.)
I expect to learn about the importance of Ancient Runes, what they represnt, and what is happining to them.

Alexandra who's sit in front of the class trying to pay attention at the teacher..
and get shocked when she got a homework even the class lesson is not start yet..
but it's okay..

My name is Alexandra.. muggleborn.. I'm not in the house already [can you help me with this one??].. I live in Indonesia.. I don't know what is so special about me.. I love something challenging.. but if I already sit in front of my laptop, sometimes I can't just get up.. at least 9 or 11 hours.. i want learn anything about magic..
