Attending Mythology Lesson

[Sleepy Dragonwood]

Sleepy entered the Mythology classroom and looked around confused. All over the classroom books were spread on top of each other, some were lying there opened, some had handwriting on them, some had blank pages...

"Am I the only one attending this class?" Sleepy wondered, "or did I miss something?" Sleepy came for his first lesson in Hogwarts, yet no one told him how many students would be coming to the House of Gryffindor.

Sleepy thought to himself "The boys dormitory was still so empty and now no one is here? Would the One Whose Name Should Not Be Spoken have returned at Hogwarts or did he intercept most of the students from coming to Hogwarts?"

Even the Professor wasn't there, so Sleepy thought he perhaps gave up on them, upset because of the students absence from class.

[Mist LightRose]

Mist hurried in, saying rather loudly, "Sorry I'm late, I ... " then she looked round. "Oh, hey, Sleepy. Mind if I sit next to you ... ? " she asked.

[Laelia Lule]

Anticipating a busy day, Laelia had risen from bed earlier than usual. She was excited for her Mythology class. It was one of her favorite subjects, and she wanted to get a handle on this Professor Sedgelock who was her instructor. Walking into the class, she was surprised to see only students and no teacher in sight.

One girl, who looked like she had arrived was still standing talking to another boy. She walked closer to them and introduced herself, "Ah, what a surprise to see our teacher has not arrived. I'm Laelia Lule, first year Slytherin. Do you have any idea where this Professor Sedgelock might be?"

[Mist LightRose]

"I don't," Mist said, a confused tone in her voice. "Em, I'm Mist LightRose, first year Gryffindor." Mist winced at 'Gryffindor.' She hoped Laelia Lule wouldn't treat her badly because she was a Gryffindor.
"So, why did you sign up for Mythology, Laelia?"

[Laelia Lule]

"Pleased to meet you, Miss LightRose," replied Laelia. Ah, another Gryffindor, thought the Slytherin. Hopefully, this one was nothing like Mr. Mowbray.

She shrugged. "I like Mythology. I find it fascinating especially myths about gods from different places. Egyptian and Greek are two of my favorites."

[Sleepy Dragonwood]

Sleepy said to Mist "Yes, sure you can site next to me. We're a Gryffindor team, huh?" He was proud to have been appointed to the Gryffindor House and he really liked Prof. Power so much.

"I have no idea where the Professor is" Sleepy said with a confused voice "It's my first class today and it already starts good." Sleepy sat down at a bench and put his book on the table.

"I guess we just wait a bit and see what happens. There aren't many students taking this class either, I see. I like Mythology especially because of the mystical animals and Gods."

"Oh, hi Laelia, nice to see you in this class too!" Sleepy called out to her.

[Mist LightRose]

"Thanks," Mist grinned and sat next to Sleepy.
"Taking a while, eh?" she asked the other two.

[Laelia Lule]

Laelia took another look at the male Gryffindor. Ah, it was Mr. Dragonwood, the rambler. "Lovely to see you here, Mr. Dragonwood," said the blonde Slytherin.

She huffed a bit, impatient at being keep waiting and took a seat near the seated Gryffindors. She said, "I wonder what is going on right now. I haven't seen or heard from our instructor."

[Mist LightRose]

"Neither me," Mist said, "Where the heck do you think she is?"

"Come ooooooooooon ... " Mist muttered. She removed herself from next to Sleepy and paced the room. 10 minutes later she sat back down.

Laelia waited silently as the other girl paced through the room. Twenty minutes, she would give the Porfessor. Just twenty minutes and then she would leave.

When Miss LightRose took her seat again, she muttered, "Ten more minutes, I shall wait. After that, I will leave if she does not arrive."
