Katie managed to just be depressed instead of have a total melt down for making a fool of herself in front of the entire class. She GLARED at Duncan and just knew that 'mister perfect' would get it right the first time he tried. She suppoed that it was like having a brother cause she REALLY hated him at the moment.  She slumped in her chair and paid attention to how it was supposed to be done and waited for the end of class to get it from the professor.  |

Duncan took his turn and, much to the annoyance of his 'sister' Katie, he did it exactly right. He sat and put his wand away.

She looked at Katie, catching the glimpse of annoyance on her face, Kaylee said, "Ms. Carter wipe the look off your face and please try again. Enunciate more this time. Ferea VER-to." She said. "Go ahead and try." |

Katie took a deep breath and imagined herself at one of her martial arts championships, where she was confident and talented. She moved her arm like the professor showed and strongly said "Fera VER-to" and she had a water goblet. She smiled happily, then stuck her tongue out at Duncan.
