First of all, let us clarify one thing about registering your wand! Registering your wand is not the same as buying your wand. You must buy your wand at Ollivander's before you can register it. In order to register your wand, you must place a post in the board "Wand Registration" stating the following information: - Wood your wand is made of
- Wand core (its source of magic)
- Wand length
- Wand strength
The reason we ask that you register your wand is for staff purposes. When you register your wand, that tells one of the staff members to place your wand information in your profile. It also keeps us organized in knowing who is allowed to take classes and who isn't, because a wand is an absolute requirement to take classes. Wand are only 15 galleons each (although you shouldn't need more than one wand). Please know this piece of information. If you do not register your wand, then you are not considered a wand owner. Your wand must be registered so we know that you have a wand. As a reminder, post your wand registration as a new thread in the sub-board "Wand Registrations." Thank you, Ministry of Magic This message has been sponsored by the Department of Wand Registries at the Ministry of Magic, London.
