Lilah has been avoiding Duncan, Katie, and her best friend mist.
She has been freaked out and thinks the drama is her fault.
She wants to leave hogwarts.
Passing the room of requirement Lilah realized where it was since the previous incident.
She saw the door signalling something she needed was in there
"Not again!" She whined but she walked in to find a piano.
she didnt bother to shut the door.
This was different from the pianos in the music room.
She went over and started brushing the keys and played a soft melody and sang
but here her voice didnt sound bewitched. It sounded as if she was normal and she sang pretty. Like the voice made people fall in love but this was worth hearing.
She hit the black keys then the white. She felt so vibrant and so alive.

Duncan was heading to the room of requirements to do some climbing to clear his head when he heard music coming from the room of requirements. He stuck his head in and heard Lilah. He walked in, silently as a cat, so he wouldn't disturb the music.
He stood behind her and listened for a while. Then he reached into his back packand pulled out his guitar and played.

Lilah heard the guitar play and instantly smiled
She knew Duncan's music from anything
She started singing

Lilah just felt not needed around so she did her own thing.

And that's when Katie walked in for her martial arts practice and she heard the two of them. She shook her head. "Wow, you can tell that it's two blondes talking, can't you."
She walked over to them, still shaking her head "OK guys, pay attention, to each other ! Duncan, make an effort to be with your girlfreind, she needs to know you care. Lilah, if you're running away from him, like you seem to be runnin from the rest of us, then you're not gettin time with himn ? Are you ?"
"So I'll go to a muggle hairdresser and buy black hair dye for both of you and you can get your brains going." she said.
Then she looked at her dear freind and quasi-brother "So should I pull out my violin and join you or do you two need to be alone ?"
She knew how they felt about her and it made her sad. It made her miss Brooke. "So what is it guys ?"

Duncan took a deep breath and walked over to Lilah. "Maybe my sister over there is the smart one in the family." he said. He turned Lilah around in her seat and looked deeply in her eyes.
"Lilah, I hope you never get tired of me saying I love you." he wrapped his strong arms around her and presssed his lips to hers.

Lilah just felt like she melted again like the first time they kissed.
She kissed him back and leaned her forehead on his
"I love you too."
"As some muggles say "LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!"" Lilah laughed so hard at that corny joke

Duncan shrugged. "I guess so. But you are my first girl friend and nobody gives girlfriend lesson. I am VERY likely to make LOTS of mistakes."
He picked up his gituar and began to play:

IC- When Duncan finished Lilah started touching the keys and singing

Katie recognized DUncan's reendition of the song by Pink and she joined in on her violin.
She listened to the original piece by Lilah and applauded when Lilah finished. "That was great ." she said.
