Katie walked closer to Lilah. "How can you feel like that ?" she asked in a gentle and concerned voice. "You know you have friends that love you, me and Mist and Brooke and..." she looked at Duncan.. "him."
Katie looked a bit sad. "You know, it's hard to see you this down when you... have more than a lot of us."

Katie wasn't sure how to feel. She wondered if Lilah was baiting her or just really didn't get it. "Maybe you need to take a look at what you have got before you complain too much." she said. "Lot's of girls here would be happy to take Duncan off yer hands if you don't think he's something special. Mist and Brooke BOTH had a crush on him, and you're the lucky one, you have a guy that actually CARES, not just wants to.. snog with you."

Duncan shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair. His head felt like it was too heavy, or on wrong or something. He took a deep breath. "I'm not sure I like where this is goin... I need to get my head straight."
He started to walk out. " maybe I could talk to Pan...."
"too bad I don't know any hippogryphs..." and he walked out.

All her anger rushed to her head and made her a bit dizzy but she just ran.
she ran out of the main gates and into the forbidden forrest and she didnt know where she was going she just needed out
