[Duncan Mowbray]

Bast walked through the slightly open door and Duncan followed her. "Bast ? Where are you ?" and he pushed the door the rest of the way open.

"Is anybody in here ?" he called. "Hello ?"

Nobody answered in the empty room. Bast meowed and leapt onto the caretaker's table. "Duncan looked around. "Merlin ! It looks like a tornado tore through here."

He looked around and saw closets and cabinets ripped open and various items all over the floor. "I wonder what this stuff is."

Katie was sure she saw Bast, so Duncan was probably close to his cat. She followed to the caretaker's room.

"Duncan ! What did you do in here ?" she asked, surprised by the mess. "Are you trying to get expelled or something ? Or are you trying for seven years of detention ?"

"It was like this when I got here." Duncan replied. "It does look kinda like sombody was trying to trash the place... or was looking for something."

Duncan scanned the wreckage. "I don't recognize half of this junk and some of it looks pretty old. I wonder what it is."

He smiled slyly. "Maybe we could borrow some of it, maybe it zonko antiques."
