Mr. Ollivander walked popped out of an upstairs room as soon as Rose walked into the store. He raced down the stairs, excited to see another young face eager to buy their first wand. "So, you want to buy your first wand, eh?" he said with a toothy grin. "Well, I think we have just the perfect fit." Mr. Ollivander rushed out of sight into a room in the back of his store. He came back with a long box, which he handed to Rose. "This wand is made of Ash. It is 7.75 inches long, has a phoenix feather core, and is great for spells used in Divination. Perhaps we have a young fortune teller in our midst." Rose picked up the hand and it glowed in her hand. She excitedly jumped up and down and walked with Mr. Ollivander over to the store counter, where she paid him 15 galleons for the wand. She ran out of the store before Mr. Ollivander could remind her to register her wand at the Ministry of Magic. Another happy sale, thought Mr. Ollivander.
