She could feel herself changing, as she ran through the trees and to the lake. Something was building up inside of her, quickly. It felt like evil. She knew the mind she was in wasn't hers. Someone, anyone, was trying to kill her. Who she didn't know, all the real her knew was she was in year three, which gave her two years of people to check out. Or try to. The body under the Imperius curse stopped at the lake, dipping her slender legs in and then the rest of herself. It dived under, and then tied a reef around her ankle, waiting to drown. Mist - the real Mist - could hear someone screaming above the lake.
"Mist! Mist! Come back!"[/b]
But she couldn't. The knot was tied so tightly, the circulation to her ankle stopped. If someone didn't save her in a few minutes, Mist LightRose would be dead.
