Playing in front of Florean Flortescue's Ice Cream

Duncan went towards Florean Flortescue's Ice Cream Parlor and looked into his wallet. He wanted to get a snack but thought he might need more money.
He found a seat and was glad that he brought his guitar. He sat a hat by his feet and began to play and sing, hoping that the impromptue performance might get him some extra cash.

Mist waves to her fellow Gryffindor. Extractive a gallon from her pocket, she shined it happily, and flipped it to him.
" Sorry it's not much! I need to buy things as well. " she smiled, and joined in, hoping to get some money. " I can play guitar but, I left it in my dorm. " sighed Mist apollijetically.

OOC: Since Duncan's funds went up due to posting messages etc, I'll use this post to explain an increase in his funds.

IC:
Duncan smiled at Mist. "Thanks miss. I've actually made a decent amount from my concert and I was about to get an ice cream and finish my shopping."

He put away his guitar and picked up his cash from his hat. "I hope you like the music." he said. "And my name is Duncan Mowbray." the blonde boy said as his guitar and case shrunk small enough to go into his pocket.

"Wanna grabb an ice cream ?" he asked. "I could use a break and somebody to talk to."

Mist smiled back.
" Yeah, sure! I'd love someone to talk to. " she grinned eagerly. Duncan grinned back. They both walked towards the counter.

While they stood at the counter and looked at the items available today Duncan said "I did pretty well with my concert so the ice-cream is on me today."

He looked at the list hoping for something fruit, perhaps mango sorbets. He looked at the girl beside him and said "And you never did tell me your name." he smiled and said "I don't want to sit there and say 'hey you' to you."

He felt dissappointed by the selection and said "I'll have a strawberry ice cream."

[Jaslyn Blink]

"Oh, Strawberry is the worst, I'd go with chocolate bean icecream, with nuts." Jaslyn Blink stood behind the boy at the counter, and his friend. "Oh, I hope I didn't disturb your conversation. I'm going to Hogwarts to, but I'm probably going to be in Slytherin. One Chocolate bean icecream!" Jaslyn payed the cashier. "I'd better be off, nice talking to you!" Jaslyn took the icecream, and sat down at a chair in the front of the shop.

Mist narrowed her eyes at Jaslyn.
"Was he joking, or something?" Mist asked Duncan. "Well, I'd better be off. Later."
She passed Jaslyn on her way out.
"Like your name, by the way. I'm off. Bye. Nice talking to you, too."
