Isabella's favorite robe is dark purple in color, and was given to her as a gift from her grandmother, who is also the source of her name, when she received her letter from Hogwarts. She also wears a silver claddaugh brooch that was given to her by her younger sister on one of her birthdays (she can't remember which).

Character Biography:

Isabella Astraea Sedgelock was born on June 15, 1975 in the small village of Tullynacross, Ireland. Although, she is a member of a pureblood family, her parents shielded her from the magical life. They lived through the horror of Voldemort and felt that their children would benefit more without magic in their lives.

This stayed true until the day Isabella's letter came in the mail. It was Isabella's 11th birthday. Her parents Lydia and Cedric (both Hogwarts graduates) thought nothing of letting their oldest daughter go get the mail from the end of their windy drive. When she came back, it was already too late. She had read the letter and shared it with her younger siblings (Clara - 7 and Oliver - 9). All three children came running into the house yelling if it was true. It was then that Lydia and Cedric sat down with Isabella, Clara and Oliver and told them the true history of their family.

Isabella had always felt that there was more to life than just her mundane life in the countryside of Ireland. She flew through her classes at Hogwarts, and was a member of Ravenclaw. She barely had to read anything twice and could ace her tests after just one flip through the book.

After graduating Hogwarts at the top of her class, she went to work at St. Mungo's as a healer. Her secret wish, though, has always been to go back to the school that made all her uncertainty of life vanish, and to teach the new minds coming into the wizarding world.



As a person, Isabella respects all life and is very spiritual. She takes time out every day to center herself by means of meditation. She still tries to learn everything she can. Her favorite subject to learn about is the vast world of Mythology. She also practices divination by means of Astrology and Tarot, as well as a bit of Herbology.
