[Esther Fandale]

Esther looked around, making sure no one was watching, then wandered into the Forbidden Forest. Though it was forbidden, she thought it looked amazing. She wondered if anyone else dared to come in here...

[Duncan Mowbray]

Duncan had always been the leap-before-you-look kind of boy, so when he saw a professor going into the forbidden forest he counln't resist the urge to follow and observe.

He noted everything, including objects that he could use as landmarks if he needed to make a quick exit. He had his wand out, just in case, and moved as quietly as possible while always keeping the professor in his sight.

Esther stopped and smiled-even though she at times seemed like a hyper air-headed ditz, she had very heightened senses of hearing and smell-she knew young Duncan was following her. "Mr.Mowbray, why are you following me?"She asked suddenly, hoping to startle him.

Duncan frowned. He had hoped that he was being stealthier while following the professor.

"Yes professor, I was 'trying' to follow you." Duncan answered. "I'm the naturally curious type and I figured that it should be safe enough to follow a head of house into the dark forrest for a look around."

Then he smiled and said "Unless you're really a dark witch in disguise as a professor and heading towards your secret hide out."

[Lilah Delancy]

Lilah wandered the forest. She was bored with the school she needed some adventure. Lilah wondered what lied in the depths of these wood. I heard some speaking

"Unless you're really a dark with in diguise as a professor heading towards your secret hide out." Lilah noticed the belonged to a first year Gryffindor named Duncan Mowbray

As she drew closer She saw Professor Fandale. She instinctivly went behind a tree and watched the two closely. Wondering what they would do next..

Duncan's expression changed and he pulled out ahis wand. His head turned slightly as he seemed to be in thought. "Do you hear music ?" he whispered to the professor.

He looked around, carefully and intently studting the area around him. "It sounds like.. a flute, somber and.. lonely."

He took a couple of steps towards it, then he asked the professor "Should we look into it ?"

"Do you hear music?" Duncan asked the professor

OH crap lilah though she heard the music come behind her. They're going to find her. She thought.

But will they follow it?

Duncan’s expression changed to awe and wonder and curiosity. “I have GOT to see what’s making that music.” He said as he headed towards the sound.

He spotted another student and nodded to her, but mostly ignored her. He seemed to be entranced. He lifted his wand before him as he walked and he waved it like a conductor’s baton.

He began to hum the tune and followed the source as it seemed to move deeper into the forbidden forest. A humanoid seemed to be moving quickly, with an almost animalistic gate, ahead of him.
OOC: PLEASE don't see the creature yet, I have plans for what it is

Lilah knew he was coming this way but where is the professor?

Duncan noticed her because he nodded so maybe that was the signal she could come she thought!

She walked slowly behind him listening to the music that was pulling her in.

Only to see Duncan a bit ahead. She ran to him.

"Duncan whats going on?" Lilah asked as some sun shone through the forest catching a reflection in Duncan's eye

'Stop it Lilah! He's a Gryffandor!' Lilah mentally slapped herself.

But she didn't care.....

Duncan smiled at her. "I have no idea." he said. "BUt I know..."

Duncan stopped and looked into her eyes with an intensity so sharp his eyes appeared to glow "I know that the music is meant to call ME."

He started walking again "If you can hear it then it's calling you too."

He followed the movement ahead and the movement of the music. As he waved his wand like a baton some of the creatures began to growl, squeal or droan in tune with the music.

A tall humanoid creature could be seen in the distance, playing a flute and walking away VERY quickly.

Lilah felt duncan's eyes so ahrd when he stared at her she saw his eyes glow.

"If you can hear it then it's calling you too." Duncan said as he moved forward and waved his wand like a conductor of a symphony and all noises in the forest drowned her ears going with the same tune. A tall creature peered playing the flute while walking quickly away. Now Lilah was a bit freaked out. But felt safe that she was with Duncan

"D-Duncan What was that?" Lilah asked moving closer to Duncan

He smiled, nearly chuckling "I have no idea, that's why it's great. We're walking into the unknown."

He looked back and didn't see the professor "Maybe she can't hear it so she acn't follow."

They saw a shape that looked like the top half was a man and the bottom half was the legs portion of a goat. It leapt up a hill. The music was louder and more POWERFUL. They could feel it in their heartbeats.

As the hill got steaper, Duncan grabbed Lilaj's hand "I"ve been a mountain climber for years. Let me help you."

Lilah was lost in the music. When she saw a rather weird creature but she knoew weird is always in her life.
Until Duncan grabbed her hand and sent sparks through her body.

....Let me help you." Duncan finished

"Dont let me fall." Lilah whispered trusting Duncan with her life

"I won't let you fall." he said as he helped her follow the creature. They were gaining on it and could see that it appeared to be a satyr playing a flute or perhaps pipes.

"Welcome to my garden, mortals." it said.

I wont let you fall" Duncan said

Lilah saw this creature and he said

"Welcome to my garden Mortals." HE spoke

"Did you play the music?" I asked with courage and leaned further into Duncan
