"Ok well, I guess its out in the open now. Im not trying to play games though it probably looks likei I am." Hawkes was talking to Lilahs back at this point.

"Maybe you should decide who you want." Lilah spoke not bothering to look at him

"What do you want?" Hawkes said and Lilah stopped in her tracks to answer.

"I want you to choose. Stop playing games hawkes because i'm not a player." Lilah said

"What do you want?" Hawkes said forcefully. He got up and grabbed her arm spinning her around. "Tell me you are being to cryptic, tell me," Hawkes said between his clenched jaw.

"stop it hawkes you would never understand." Lilah said scasred

"So whos playing games now? Answer the question!" Hawkes screamed at Lilah. He felt the wind at his face and a burning sensation in his stomach. Looking out at the vastness of the Quidditch field and the amazing scene of mountains behind them he stepped on the ledge he looked down hundreds of feet. Hawkes, closing his eyes spread his arms. "Tell me, how do you know I wouldnt understand until you told me?"

"Your muggle-born you know nothing about he who mustn't be named! You dont know what he did to me! you will never know that feeling. I lost a part of myself and then you come to Hogwarts and think you can mess with our heads! Make up your mind!" Lilah yelled feeling the heat in her face as one tear slid down her cheek.

[Hawkes Voddher]

Hawkes was teetering on the ledge, " Lilah if you dont tell me what you want I will jump. If I do have one fault its that I am bluntly truthful. Just tell me what you want and Ill make my decision." He was walking back and forth, eyes closed wand pocketed slipping here and there but catching himself.

[Duncan Mowbray]

Duncan had been walking outside the quidditch pitch, exploring again, when he saw somebody tettering on the edge. "holy shit !" he said and ran as fast as he could to the edge. WHen he got closer he saw Hawkes.

"HAWKES ! DUDE ! Don't jump !" he yelled as loud as he could "WHatever is wrong.. we can help buddy !!"

Duncan put his wand to his neck. It wasn't as loud as when Dumbledore did it, but his voice WAS amplified. "HAWKES - STEP AWAY FROM THE EDGE !!"

"DUNCAN GO AWAY! HAWKES I WANT YOU TO CHOOSE WHO YOU WANT!" Lilah screamed as she pulled him back from the edge

"Lilah this is your last chance to tell me what YOU want," Hawkes said pulling himself away from her and running further down the ledge. "If you cant tell me what you want, then I have made my choice." Hawkes kept straddling the edge, eyes closed. The winds picked up, gusting whipping his robes around him.
