Katie was outside and heard Duncan's amplified voice beg Hawkes to step away from the edge. She saw Hawkes standing on the edge and RAN. Being a runner, Katie could run REALLY fast, especially when she felt the adrenalin kick in when she saw Hawkes on the ledge.
When she got close she took out her wand and amplified her voice too. She didn't do it quiet right so it was SUPER loud and actually shattered some windows. She could be heard on almost all of the outside of Hogwarts.
"HAWKES ! HONEY IT'LL BE ALRIGHT ! I'M HERE FOR YOU DARLING !!"

"Ill come down when Lilah tellsme what she wants, then I will have to make the hardest decision of my young life." Screaming back at Duncan and Katie, when he heard Katie he began to tremble slightly. What would his decision be? He was going through everything of the past week, but was truly waiting for Lilah to answer.

Once she heard katies amplified voice she was sick. 'Darling.' Oh My She thought
Katie was good at everything really. She's nice and pretty can run can sing . Gets along with the guys.
But shes everything I'm not.

After he heard Katie call Hawkes darling and honey he knew that this was going to be bad for her. He guessed it wouldn't be good for Lilah either. He wasn't feeling particularly good about it himself.
He walked out from behind the tapestries. He glanced up and Hawkes was there.
He looked at Katie and saw..

Katie turned white as a sheet as she figured out what was happening. Her wand fell fromher loose hand and she began to shake. "no,no,no,no,no" she whined softly.
"NO !" she screamed nearly as loudly as she had with the amplified voice. "no" she cried softly on the ground unable to summon enough will to move.

Duncan looked at Katie, as broken as a crushed doll, crying on the ground. A hundred thoughts and emotions rumbled through his head and heart, but Katie's pain was impossible to ignore.
He walked to her and knealt beside her. "Katie." he whispered softly. He put a hand on her shoulder. "Are you OK ?"he asked, and he knew it was an idiotic question as soon as it left his lips.

Hawkes stopped dead in his tracks turned to look at Lilah. "I never siad I wouldnt jump if you did answer me." Hawkes then jumped off the ledge.

Katie managed to look up at Duncan, her eyes red from the river of tears running down her cheeks. "no" she mutter.
"no" she whimpered.
"NO!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.
"no, i'm not alright." she cried. "I kissed him." she said flatly, then hung her head to hide her face and her shame.
"he said he wanted to.. wanted to.. kiss me and I.." she stopped and cried.
"I LEANED IN AND KISSED HIM BECAUSE HE WANTED ME TOO !!" she wailed.
"he wanted me to." she wimpered.
"what does he think i am ? a toy to play with and throw aside ?" she collapsed completely onto the ground and cried uncontrollably.

Lilah heard him say that and ran straight to the edge where hawkes once was.
She couldnt bear herself so she pointed her wand at herself and said very loud and carefully "CRUCIO." Then an electro shock went through her whole body she felt numb in her heart. how could she do this to him. I should die...

During the pain jolting in her body tht should last a minute or so more she heard katie cry. She felt terrible about everything not knowing what to do. So she shook on the floor in pain not bothering to cry out because sooner or later no matter how hard Lilah tried she knows this school would be the death of her.

Hawkes felt the wind at his face as he opened his eyes. Hands spread out legs together 100 feet til certain death. Grabbing a banner sending him through the pillars of wood that made up the core of the Quidditch pitch, making the illusion he disappeared.

the pain made lilah jolt and then it was over. She felt numb she couldnt move so she stayed where she was. She could care less. That stupid boy! Why did he do this to me?! lilah thought

Duncan knelt beside Katie, not knowing what was going on above him. He had no idea what to do or say.
He put his hand on her gentley. He hoped to comfort her. "Try to move away from him Katie. A boy that would treat a girl like that now would only treat you worse later." he said clumsily.
Dunacn heard the noise from the pitch and turned to see Hawkes falling. He whipped out his wand and yelled "Wingardium Leviosa !" but it was too little too lake. The spell wasn't made to stop that much momentum. It was useless.
