'Come here Lilah Dear.' Lilah couldnt control it anymore her eyes rolled back as she fought it and started moving

"DUNCAN! DUNCAN!" Lilah screamed not able to control herself
"Help!" She said in a blood curdling scream

[Duncan Mowbray]

Duncan could see that she was fighting something, fighting and failing. He reached into her robe and grabbed her wand so that her controlle couldn't make her cast a spell. He slid it in his pack.
He ran in front of Lilah amd dropped to his knees right in front of Lilah. As she fought the controlling force he used his knowledge of Tai Chi Chuan to punch both of her legs similtaneously hitting nerve bundles and making her completely unable to stand, let alone walk.
As she fell he caught her in a fireman's carry and rushed towards Pan's safe place. He began to sing Pan's song.
"FOLLOW ME !" he yelled to the other girls. Then he began to sing again.
OOC1: Since she had no control of herself I figured that she couldn't initialize self defense and her legs would be easy targets, especially since he's a black belt.
OOC2: It would be really great if the two centaurs would grab the other girls and follow Duncan.
OOC3: hey Katie - HELP !!!!

OOC : A centuar grabbing Mist and following ? this is complicated.
IC :
Mist could feel herself getting grabbed; she was nearing Duncan at the same time.
'As long as I'm following,' Mist thought to herself.

[Katie Carter]

Katie was out jogging around the lake when she heard Duncan's REALLY LOUD voice. "How are you ALWAYS in trouble, bro ?" she turned and ran towards the forbidden forest.

OOC: I'll get there soon.

Lilah felt no movement and the ground dissapear beneth her she gave duncan pleading eyes.

She felt something squeezing her lungs and she couldnt breathe she gave in after fighting.

"I love you." She whispered before shuttting her eyes and all breathing cut off

ooc- she dies sort of but like do something to bring her back.. make pan help her.

[Mist LightRose]

'LILAH!' Screamed Mist, and started struggeling with the centuar.
'LILAH WAKE UP!' She softly started crying , with one last desparing tug from the centuars grasp, and managed to be let go of.
'Lilah ... '

[Duncan Mowbray]

As they ran into the 'safe place' that Pan had set aside for them Duncan could feel the oppression and heaviness leave him, but not the sense of panic.

He laid Lilah down genntley "LILAH !" he sfcreamed and shook her.

"That will do you no good, young one. She is dead." Pan said flatly.

"SHE CAN'T BE DEAD !" Duncan roared.

"Of course she can be dead, boy. Everything dies. Even I will die someday. But her soul has NOT been set loose from her body. Your muggle doctors would not call her brain-dead, not yet." Pan said calmly as his satyr form moved through the tall grass, as the grass seemed to part out of Pan's way as he walked.

Duncan dropped to his knees and begged. "PLEASE, save her then. If she can be saved, I'll do anything !!"

"NEVER say that boy" Pan roared. "You are REQUIRED greater strength and control. Fate has dealt you a cruel hand boy. Magus is a hard path."

Duncan filled with fury "Save her DAMN IT ! Or I'll curse you with the power you gave me !"

Pan laughed. "Excellent lad. That is the kind of spirit that has a hhope to save you all." He looked sad then as the greek god continued "but I can't save her. The laws that move us like chess pieces won't let me save her. But you can save her, without magic."

Duncan's expression changed to one of absolute terror. "How do I save her ? I'm not a muggle doctor!"

"She's not breathing boy, how should you save her ? DO you know how to start a stopped heart ?"

Duncan looked at Lilah and felt like his heart had stopped beating. "CPR" he said. He knealt close to her and leaned her head back and checked her throat for obstructions. When he saw that there were none, he sat her head back, angled to keep her throat clear. He pinched her nose shut and put his mouth over hers. He exhaled hard and her lungs filled with the air. He noved his face away and her chest deflated as the air went out. He did it again and again and again.

And Lilah coughed and shook where she laid. She gasped and took a deep breath.
OOC: lilah literally told me to save her, so i did.
OOC: the dark lady and the grey green man can't get into this place and neither can there power. the kids are safe for the moment.

Lilah gasped but felt nothing

She opened her eyes.
where was she?

then she saw that cute boy and everything hit her.

"Duncan! Mist." She cried in Duncan's s=chest trying to be as close as she can to him

"I-I am so - s-s-orry pan.' She felt nothing except sorry

[Duncan Mowbray]

"Do not appologize to me, child. You have done no wrong to me." Pan said as he stroked his goatee. "If you must appologize then appologize to your male. He now bears the burden alone and, if he can, he must become the magus and save you all - even as Merlin did."

Pan stood in front of Duncan. "You are alone now lad. You have choosen to embrace the music of the spheres and the fate of every living thing will be in your hands."

All of the color drained away from Duncan's face. "I don't suppose I can change my mind and live a nice normal life, can I ?"

A strange look crossed over Pan's face. "Yes lad. You do have the chance to live a normal life. The mantel is heavy and the wearing is difficult. Simpley walk back to the castle and you will be free of this fate."

But Duncan's expression was not happiness. "But that would have to be my choice too and..." He looked at Lilah "I can't turn my back on it. I hope you can understand and be with me but... I have to do this.. no matter what."

Duncan touched her cheek gentley "Will you travel with me ?"

[Mist LightRose]

Mist looked at Pan and thought. As Lilah woke up, she didn't hug her as Duncan and herself were talking. As he aked her to travel with her, Mist got up. She wanted to asked Pan a question.
"I've got no place in this, so why am I here?" Mist gared, the fury building up behind her eyes. "I've got nothing special to share, nothing I can do. Why am I here?"

[Brooke Edwards]

OOC: Sorry for taking so long to reply. I'm going to go back to where Duncan stopped singng and Lilah came. I'm also going to say that the centaurs offered Mist and Brooke their backs to follow Duncan. As for meeting Pan, I'll give their reactions as well. This family is now friends of ours. Have fun reading! Sorry again guys...

IC:Brooke stared at Duncan and then turned to look at the centaurs. What was that song? What had just happened? She was amazed as Lilah walked out from the trees. She must have come to Duncan’s singing. Brooke’s world was in a whirl of confusion. She looked to the mother centaur, which was protecting her foal from the humans. The male looked almost impressed by Duncan and he walked forward. When Duncan explained the song to him, the male nodded.

“That is an ancient magic.” He stated simply. “I was taught once to our ancestors. You say that Pan himself taught you, which means you, human, must be incredibly worthy. I is a magic that tells you your true self. Those centaurs that ran away in fear knew they had lived their lives committing wrongs. Those that left in pleasure and happiness knew that Pan wished them well. That is a magnificent power you have there.” He bowed to Duncan and then turned to talk to the female and their son. Brooke walked over to the centaurs to avoid watching Duncan and Lilah making out.

“Hello,” Brooke said slowly. The centaurs were much bigger closer up than Brooke had thought. The son was a bit taller than Brooke and he walked up to her. He had big blue eyes that dug in to Brooke’s soul.

“Hi,” He whispered. Brooke guessed he was quite shy. He had a beautiful golden coat of fur and curly blond hair on top of his head. His face was young and round. He had a sad look of despair on his face, but Brooke could simply imagine his smile. “I’m Fritz.” He said smiling.

“Brooke,”she said simply. She was still smiling at him when a commotion began behind her. She heard Duncan and Lilah mention something about a safe place and then Lilah took off in to the woods singing. Brooke knew she had to follow right away. Duncan had already left, so Brooke grabbed Mist and started after them. As she ran, she felt a strong pair of hands on her waist, she was lifted off the ground and she screamed. The centaurs had followed and the female was picking her up.

The next thing Brooke knew she was on the females back running through the forest. She heard Mist struggling behind her, but Brooke didn’t have enough time to yell at her that everything would be fine. Then they were stopped by the strange man, Brooke was unsure what to think. All of a sudden her world was moving fast again. She saw a million things a second. Then there was Lilah being dragged away from the dark lady. Brooke held on to the female centaurs shoulders tightly, not wanting to fall off. They centaurs were quite confused. They stayed off to the side as the scene unfolded before them as well. As they followed Duncan to the safe place with Lilah, the male stopped to grab Mist. Brooke still didn’t know what was happening.

Then all of a sudden, Brooke’s world stopped. Lilah dead? She wanted to leave the centaurs back, but that was a long jump down. Then Pan came and Brooke practically fell off the centaurs back. The centaurs had all fallen to the ground, bowing at the sight of Pan. They were all trembling slightly. Brooke simply got up off the ground and stood in awe.

“Guys,” Brooke finally said. “It’s not safe here anymore. We need to get back to the castle, this has been a long adventure.”She grabbed Mist and pulled her in to a hug, as though she was reading Mist’s mind. She knew how Mist must feel. Brooke had no idea what she was doing here with Pan either. Brooke turned back to the centaurs, who all stayed bowed, their noses to the forest floor.

ooC: I missed almost all of it
IC: Katie ran in out of breath. The first thing she heard was Brokke saying it's too dangerous to stay.

"If we gotta go then somebody gotta carry me. I just ran here from the other side of the lake." Katie said, drenched in sweat and panting.

She looked around. She saw brooke. "hi" she said meekly to the metamorphmagus.

She tried to catch her breath and looked around. "Students and centaurs and satyrs ? Looks like I missed something big. What's goin on ?"

[Mist LightRose]

"Brooke," Mist whispered, "I have no part in this."
She sat down. She didn't have anything special, she kept SAYING. She could have left.
But she didn't.
It was lying on the floor, a few centimetres to the left of Pan. She moved closer and suddenly reconised it. Her pendant she'd lost upon arriving at Hogwarts.
"It's here ... " Mist whispered. As she lay it down in the palm of her hand, it glowed red and floated, as if supported by air. Or ... a power of Mists'? It flickered to blue. She then knew why she had lost her pendant.
"If I hadn't lost my pendant, I'd have thought I had no part in this. This pendant symbolises that I should be here, and that is why I found it. Had I not been here, I wouldn't have come if someone asked, I wouldn't have found it. This pendant had forfilled it's purpose by showing me the way."

Mist suddenly thought. She had no idea who had given it to her.

OOC : I have a idea of what Pan could answer, could I control him for 2 seconds, Duncan?

[Duncan Mowbray]

OOC:Mist, yes, after this one you may run Pan for a bit.
IC:

Pan looked at Katie "You did miss many things, child, but you have choosen to be here - only you of every student and teacher at Hogwarts. Your part in this orchestra will be important also." He actually smiled at her.

Then the satyr turned towards Brooke. "You need not rush. You are all safe here. This place is a.. sanctuary for you. Great and ancient powers protect those that should be here. All of you young ones, and any that you WILLINGLY bring here, will be under the protection. In this place you could be safe until..."

the satyr's expression became drim and dark "until the end of all things."

He walked towards Duncan and lifted the boy by the shoulder as if Duncan weighed less than nothing. "This part of the song is for YOU - Duncan Mowbray. When you have mastered it you may teach it to the band about you."

Pan moved Duncan and stood between him and the others, his back turned towards the group so only Duncan could see his face. It seemed that every sound stopped in the forbidden forest. Duncan stared at Pan. His mouth fell and his eyes greew wide with awe. A breeze moved his hair and the blonde boy shifted with the breeze.

Pan spoke "Teach them all the part of the song that I gave to you and Lilah. Learn what I sang for you today."

Duncan fell to the ground and landed on his behind. A smile was on his lips and tears welled in his eyes.

Pan turned towards Mist and saw her amulet "you have a question about that trinket, dear ?"

[Katie Carter]

Katie was panting heave before, then she heard what Pan said and stopped breathing altogether.

"The end of all things ! DUNCAN ! WHAT THHE HELL HAVE YOU GOTTEN US INTO ! I SWEAR I'M GONNA PUT YOU ON A LEASH OR SOMETHING!!! END OF ALL THINGS !!! she ranted.

She began to pace franticly and went on blathering "And you just CAN'T let anything sit there ! Oh NO mister LEAP BEFORE YOU LOOK - CRAZY GRIFINDORK !!! I'M GONNA STOMP YER BUTT YOU IDOIT !!" she raved.

OOC: it is displaced anger. she is actually terrified, not mad. anybody is allowed to figure that out.
