Katie looked around. She smiled at Brooke and then walked to Mist. "I think you can't throw it away. You gave it to yourself already. It's history, even if you haven't done it yet."

She turned towards Lilah and Duncan "I think you're right. I think we should get out of here. We heard enough and we hurt enough. Let's go home."

[Duncan Mowbray]

"But I need one more answer before we go." Duncan said. He looked at Pan with deadly grimness. "How do we break the witch's hold on Lilah. There has to be a way to keep Liilah from just...."

He looked at Lilah and tears welled up in his eyes. He turned back to Pan. Lialh's in danger, we all are."

Pan looked at the group, avoiding Duncan's gaze. "It is time for you to go. I have given you enough answers today, and enough challenges. The witch cannot reach you inside of Hogwarts or anywhere within the gates. There is some safety in that. She cannot enter, no matter what shape she wears. He looked into Duncan and seemed to be looking into the boy's soul.

"She is a grave danger to all of you, especialy to you Duncan. All of the powers that ... much will be turned against you to sway you or destroy you. Be strong."

And Pan was gone as if he had never been there, but his voice echoed. "I can protect you long enough to return to the castle, but not beyond that."

And the breeze blew colder and harsher, as if trying to push the students.

[Lilah Delancy]

Lilah was walking back with her hand on duncans

"Duncan, I'm scared. for you." She whispered in his ear as a tears welled up in her eyes

[Brooke Edwards]

Brooke watched the scene with Mist, Duncan, Lilah and Katie. She listened to Duncan’s wise words, knowing that they had to get back to the castle. She flicked her hair out of her eyes, which turned a deep violet purple colour, and turned to her friends. Her hair, dark green and in curls around her ears, rustled in the wind almost making her mystic looking. She stared at them and smiled in agreement.

“Duncan’s right,” Brooke said simply, her voice sounding almost dreamy. “There isn’t anything else we can do here. We should head back before someone notices we’re missing.” She turned around then and looked to the centaurs. They were speaking in low voices to Fritz. He looked at Brooke solemnly and cantered over with a grim look upon his face.

“Thank you for your help, Brooke,” Fritz said this quite formally. His shoulders seemed stiff. His parents behind him stomped their hooves impatiently. “My family and I must leave the forest, in order to remain safe from that herd. Our paths will cross again, it is written in the stars.” With that, he flicked his short blonde hair and the family left the clearing, their hooves pounding on the forest floor. Brooke watched them go and she wondered about what Fritz had meant about their paths crossing again. Could he really predict the future.

With Pan’s protection, Brooke left the forest alongside the others. She sighed heavily, feeling quite tired all of a sudden. She looked at Katie, grinning sheepishly, wondering what her fellow Hufflepuff was thinking. Mist was walking with them, but she simply looked confused, like she was deep in though. Lilah and Duncan walked in front of Brooke, holding hands. Brooke quickly looked away, trying not to think about them. Brooke’s eyes glowed as she saw the castle, she couldn’t wait to be warm and safe n her bed.

[Mist LightRose]

Brooke was right. Mist was deep in thought. She didn't feel as if she was there, she was somewhere else ... oh, gahd, definately somewhere else ...
She was ... having a vision ... She stopped and couldn't move because of this vision ........

[Duncan Mowbray]

Duncan saw that Mist seemed to space out. "Merlin ! Now what ?" he asked, not really expecting an answer.

He looked at the others. "Anyody wanna help me carry Mist back to the castle?"

[Katie Carter]

OOC: Brooke started moving us already. I'm good with that.
IC:
Katie said. "I'll help. I'll get the top, me and another girl, so your hands don't accidentally carry her by the wrong parts." she said looking at Duncan.

Fortunately Katie knew a lot about leverage from her martial arts and she was very strong. SHe got Lilah leaned back and had hold of her top, nothing personal was being held.

"Anybody helping ?" she asked.

[Duncan Mowbray]

Duncan nodded. "Me, since it was my idea." and he picked up her legs and started moving them.

He looked at Mist. He sighed and said "This would work better if you could walk, misty."

He looked at Lilah and Brooke. "Anybody else wanna give a hand ?"

[Mist LightRose]

The voices weren't even a buzz to Mist, they were far away, oh so far away ....
'You must take over the girl ..'

Oh dear Lord, was this a ... Premonition?

[Katie Carter]

"She's muttering something." Katie said. "Can't make it out, I think she said premonition."

Katie marched along carrying Mist. "It's a good thing you're light, gryfindor girl."

[Mist LightRose]

"Kill the girl?"
"No no no no no no no no no, get inside her. Make her feel at ease with you, like you, as if her friend, find her secrets ... then turn her."
"NO! NO! NO! YOU CANT GET INSIDE US NO!" Mist yelled, but they couldn't hear her.

[Katie Carter]

Katie had more trouble as Mist shook in her arms. "Guys ? Mist is talking but nothing's coming outta her mouth... actually I think she's screaming... and her amulet is glowing."

[Lilah Delancy]

Lilah was helping carry mist as she said things like Kill her or befriend her

Lilah thought it was all unconcious mustering

Then Lilah started to worry

"MIST!" Lilah yelled

"Which girl?"
The man looked at the woman.
"Ok, ok."
Mist still didn't know which girl he meant, whether herself, Lilah, Katie or Brooke.
"TELL ME!"
No answer. Of course.

Lilah watched mist her face showed she was confused and frustrated

"Someone isn't telling her something." Lilah whispered

They looked at Lilah confused

"Shes my best friend. I know her." I said
